Ona Network runs annual eye camps in various regions of Tanzania, in order to increase the accessibility of eye care services to the community. These services, which target economically deprived rural communities, contribute to the pre-existing government efforts to provide eye care services to rural areas. Furthermore, the camps support the Vision2020 initiative to eliminate preventable blindness by the year 2020 Volunteering during eye camps Eye camps gives volunteers from around the world the opportunity to restore functional vision to poor comunities in Africa.
